Boys & Girls Clubs in Illinois annually serve over 60,000 youth throughout Illinois - from Rockford to Carbondale and Moline to Danville. With Clubs located in large urban areas such as Chicago, mid-sized cities such as Decatur and smaller communities such as Bethalto, Clubs support youth who need us most and face many different challenges. Boys & Girls Clubs’ proven youth development model supports the needs youth have in common, such as the need to succeed academically, while allowing local Clubs to tailor their programs and activities to the specific needs of their community’s youth and families.
Scope of Service

 Over 63,000 Youth Served annually in Illinois through:
  • 27 independent Boys & Girls Club organizations 
  • Over 100 Club sites
  • 31 Communities have at least one Boys & Girls Club
  • 44% of sites are in Club facilities, 45% are located in schools, 8% are located in public housing and 3% are located on military installations
Who We Serve 
  • 55% males and 45% females
  • 34% African-American, 2% Asian, 19% Caucasian, 34% Hispanic, and 11% Multi-Racial
  • 2% age 5 and under, 38% age 6-10, 18% age 11-12, 23% age 13-15, 19% age 16 and over
